hi all
I am looking to buy a few 120mm fans to replace the stock fans that came with my Mac pro case.

I feel I have found a few but would like some advice as to which as should get.
I was thinking of getting a Scythe ultra kaze 3000 to replace the fan in the front side of the case as intake fan
and for exhaust a different fan.
the only thing about the ultra kaze is that it seems loud and seems like most fan controllers don't work too good with that fan.

here are the fans I was thinking of getting.

Personally I think you're barking up the wrong tree so to speak.
For air input I'd highly recommend the Silverstone Air Penetrators, they're not cheap, but they really work http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835220038
You might want to reduce the Voltage to about 7V on that fan though, or it gets quite noisy, but it comes with the adaptor to do that.
Note that this is an intake fan only, as it's doesn't work any better than your average fan as an exhaust fan.

If you're concerned about noise, how about something like this? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835426015
Alternatively, maybe something like this? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181020

I'm not familiar with the brand, so I really could't say. It does look promising in terms of noise judging by the reviews though, although the quality doesn't appear to be all that.

I love Noctua fans. Expensive ($25 each) but worth every cent.

I will get the silenx fans but will also get noctua nf-f12 120mm fans as well since I have a gift card and I needed a 120mm fan so if the silenx fans aren't good I will use them in my parents pc build and the noctuas in my Mac pro build

With the included vibration condensors and 2 noise reducers the value is with Noctua.

ok I will go with the noctuas and one silenx since I have a newegg gift card and will only pay like $2 for that fan just to test it out.
I am getting the noctuas from some place else since its out of stock in newegg

You will not regret it.
