Right.. I said since before 10.9...

Mountain Lion is 10.8

It was the TP-Link WDN4800
The one on the June 2014 Buyers Guide List (you'd think it would stay up to date with the current OS, or have a note under it so people don't accidentally buy an incompatible card)

I even made to sure to use the links on the guide so that the site got some referral money from my purchase (a $1600 purchase)

Nothing has changed wrt 32-bit from ML (10.8) to Mavericks (10.9). There is no 32-bit kernel in ML nor Mavericks. The last OS X to support 32-bit was Lion (10.7).

I was interested in the technical details on this card. What vendor/device-id is it? Use DPCIManager->PCI List.

I don't know if this will be of any use to you but I recently set up Mavericks on my PC which I dual boot with Windows 7 and I had a problem with several USB adapters whilst on Mavericks. I can confirm that this USB adapter works perfectly and supplies Wi-Fi connections to both OS'.

TP-LINK - TL-WDN3200 N600 Dual Band USB Wireless Adapter

I found a wireless utility app online that works with it, but the only downside is that I am yet to figure out how I can get the utility in Mavericks to remember passwords and automatically connect to my chosen network each time I log on. But other than that I have had no problems so far!
