I recently upgraded from 10.8.2 to 10.9.2 with success. Here is my setup
Z68x-UD3H-B3-F11
i7 2700k
16GB DDR3 GSkills RAM @ 1333MHz
NVIDIA GTX 650 1024MB
OSX 10.9.2
after install I had to type GraphicsEnabler=No. I have QuickTime issues which were fixed by rolling back my Mac to a 2008 Mac Pro.
Problem: When my hard drive is accessed, the clicking noise is much louder when accessed. It doesn't sound like a failing drive, just noticeably louder. What would cause this and how do I get rid of it?
