10.8.2 TRIM not working

For some reason the tried and true TRIM enable method doesn't seem to be working for me in 10.8.2 anymore:

sudo perl -pi -e 's|(\x52\x6F\x74\x61\x74\x69\x6F\x6E\x61\x6C\x00{1,20})[^\x00]{9}(\x00{1,20}\x51)|$1\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00$2|sg' /System/Library/Extensions/IOAHCIFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/IOAHCIBlockStorage.kext/Contents/MacOS/IOAHCIBlockStorage

Anyone else experience this issue?

The patch from MultiBeast didn't worked either. I tried this app - http://www.groths.org/?page_id=322 - worked fine, TRIM enabled.

If I remember correctly, that utility actually replaces kexts with older versions, which I'm not interested in. Has anyone else run into this, or have any ideas?

preaty sure it patches the kernal not rolling back the kext's but i could be wrong

The first version did that (not so sure though) but the latest one just patches the binary and even make a backup so you can revert whenever you desire.

This worked for me. Thanks. Any idea why the trim in Multibeast isn't working with 10.8.2. I believe 10.7.5 has the same issue.
