10.7 USB timeout upon boot

Tonymac 10.7 install instructions... installed on top of 10.6.8 snow leopard. All was fine until I got my GTX-470 working using netkas hex edit. Then the USB oddity happened.

Like several others I have the odd 1-2 minute non-responsive mouse clicks upon boot. I can move the pointer but clicking does nothing. I captured the following from console to see if anyone has a clue to the possible fix:

Same issue here. Login hangs for 1-2 minutes after every boot. Here's the kernel log for mine:
