Hm. Tried updating to 10.7.4 on a clean install of 10.7.3. Replaced AppleACPIPlatform.kext with the version posted here, rebooted...and almost instant kernel panic (about two seconds after the white apple screen appears).

At the top of the screen it says "Unable to find driver for this platform: \ACPI\"

Here's the fun part: if I boot from my Unibeast installation key, and then select the new 10.7.4 drive, everything works great. Of course I don't want to leave this key plugged in permanently.

Any ideas?

Take the newest Chimera Bootloader. Install it with Multibeast Lion Edition. Look here: viewforum.php?f=125
Copy Multibeast to the Unibeast Stick, then Boot with your Unibeast installation key and than install Chimera as Bootloader with Multibeast !
Good Luck, I hope it helps!

Having same problem. Replaced AppleACPIPlatform.kext, updated Chimera, instant kernel panic with

Unable to find driver for this platform: \"ACPI\".
