Installed the update to Lion 10.7.2
computer will work fine for several minutes then randomly freeze and throw the screen in the picture below.

as soon as I restart this will happen during the loading screen.
I used UNIBeast to install the OS and used the DSDT.aml from the database.

the components for this machine are below:
Processor - i7 2600K 3.4G
Motherboard - GIGABYTE GA-Z68XP-UD3 (BIOS F8)
VideoCard - GIGABYTE GV-R685OC-1GD (boots with GE=Yes, AtiConfig=Gibba)
Ultra 600w PSU
RAM - Corsair Vengeance 16gb

I would greatly appreciate any solutions or wisdom on this problem.

As my buddy always says, "It's never easy" ...
Welcome to the world of the hackintosh!

Welcome to the world of the hackintosh!

seems like you have a kernel panic due to something called mdwork...

try using the iMac 12,2 SMBios, it works best for Sandy Bridge systems, Mac Pro 3,1 is only the most "general" as in it supports most, if not all the CPUs and sockets. Good Luck

iMac 12,2 SMBios

so in the SMBios I will change "Mac Pro 3,1" to "iMac 12,2"
and then restart the machine?

or do I need to use Multibeast to achieve this?

Pardon my Ignorance
Thanks!

"Mdworker" is the background process that defragments and journalizes the HFS+ files system, so you have a very serious problem there!

Install the different personality as mentioned in the post above.

Repair permissions and thoroughly clean your Hack with Onyx from my sig and see if the problem persists.

I installed to a Corsair SATA III SSD. I forgot to put that in my build info .
Perhaps it is relevant to this issue.

Also, I don't have enough time to run Multibeast it will lockup before it completes. Can I install the personality another way?

Thanks.

That's not looking good at all. :(

Boot with GraphicsEnabler=No -v -x and see if you can manage to run Onyx a at least once!

UPDATE:
I was able to use Multibeast to get the personality and I ran Onyx and verified the disk and all was okay.

it then locked up on restart and I had trouble rebooting even with the restart button. I then used a bootable CD with Memtest86 v4.2 and it came up with over 10,000 errors in less than 2 minutes.

I'm confident that at least that is one problem solved. I just get rid of the bad stick.
I had an odd stick from my last RAM kit in there. and I had an empty slot.

That is how all bad ideas start.

I will update once I finish the RAM test again to check my remaining RAM Sticks.

Thanks.

1 stick of RAM was bad.

computer works flawlessly.

Thanks.
