10.13.2 (17C2120) no Nvidia drivers

The GTX 745 has native support - No additional drivers required.

Does the GTX745 use a Kepler chip or Maxwell chip?

Wikipedia says it used a Maxwell chip (GM107), and in such a case MacOS may not have native support.

Just search around the forums and see what other members are using, preferably cards that will work oob with H Sierra hopefully in the price range you quoted. Good luck.

Not yet. That is an odd build likely released because of the iMac Pro launch. You could try downloading and installing the Combo update over top of your current install. That might give you 17C89. Or, modify the NvidiaStartupWeb.kext.

Of course, the kext only loads if needed. Also make sure SIP is disabled.
