you lost me a little there, i installed a near stock osx high sierra made from my old macbook. only thing i have installed are the required patches to boot ant what not ( i still have a lot of little fixes to do like getting sound and usbs)
the this hackintosh works fine and everything works...
well thats just a example, i cant install a lot of things, i was able to install that kind of driver by installing the kext itself.
that drivers and app for realtek rtl8812au
i have not been able to install any drivers to my OSX. Whenever i try i am confronted with grayed out options. and if i just hit install it says it has been installed but nothing really is.
On occasion i get this error while trying to boot OSX Yosemite
error loading kernel cache (0x9) boot failed
it happens like maybe 3/5 times i try to boot. sometimes it boots no problem but very slowly.
for some reason clover bootloader boots OSX slower then the chameleon bootloader and i think...
isn't AppleACPIPlatform a part of OSX System? if not where do i get the right one?
should i just uninstall VoodooTSCSync?
Nullpowermamagement is nowhere to be found, not in S/L/E or clover kext folders
cant apply call _OFF from _INI in the SSDT (clicking patch makes apply remain grey) but i did...
would this code work for me as well? but i think i have ps2, i output this
fn+f2
Mar 5 03:24:40 XDarkMarios-MacBook-Pro kernel[0]: ApplePS2Keyboard: sending key 3c=78 down
fn+f3
Mar 5 03:25:43 XDarkMarios-MacBook-Pro kernel[0]: ApplePS2Keyboard: sending key 3d=63 down
ok but even if i did all of that stuff how would i know if i have power management? my battery is still dropping fast but i dont have to boot with cpus=1 flag and i removed nullpowermanagement.kext and patched the native applepowermanagement.kext
and looking in the clover log found this line...
ok i did some patches in clover after reading up on it a bit.
now i don't have to boot with cpus=1 anymore and in activity monitor i see movement on all 4 lines, does that mean i have power management?
removing nullpowermanagement and installing that patches one was indeed a bad idea, kernel panic.. now im trying to put that kext back and restore OSX externaly from windows without reinstalling OSX
Ok so i have returned yet again with my hp envy 6t 1000 CTO.
and i have 90% everything up and running by reusing a lot of content from my first thread on getting ML running on this same laptop, many thanks go to rehabman, i wouldn't be this far without him:thumbup:
>This Thread<
so what I'm...
can this log tell if i have ssdt enabled?
i dont believe i do thought. still having trouble getting this enabled. my laptop cant sleep right, the fan is always on high and the battery drops fast
Yea, it always worked, shows all the information and MB i just need a figure out how set it to primary ahead of intel. i heard theres a program that can switch it but i dont know
yea i do believe i have a mixed system i have a Sandy bridge on 7-series board, i used the patches you said earlier in the post.
my resolution is indeed 1366x768 "3000 low"
ill try some more patches and adding those flags in a bit.
well i cant boot with clover to begin with, it keeps getting stuck on boot on random things, without any kernel panics. no mater the flags i use i can only boot using a usb with chimera.
get stuck here but i still can type to the computer is not frozen.
