    I tried to do it on my own but now I need help!

    I had the same problem with my Dell 660, spent a couple of weeks wrestling with it too. I was only able to make it (ML) work when I tried a ‘Sandy Bridge’ CPU (i5-2320) on it. Now its a solid and stable machine. My conclusion is that Mac OS X won’t work with an ‘Ivy Bridge’ CPU on that...
