ok, I got that fixed by updating the apple software installer 1.0 and succesfully made a MAVS USB boot, but then im having problem booting from the USB i cant get past the installer, it just shows the apple logo in a split sec then reboots the system over. any suggestions will be appreciated.
so i have installed SL from the scratch again, updated to 10.6.8, downloaded unibeast, mavs & upon creating a unibeast bootable USB i encountered an error at the installation (see image below):-?:banghead:

yes i tried the legacy, but did not help, & yes it was working on 10.6.3. I will do it from scratch again & will try Going Bald's advice which is to upd8 to 10.6.8 on SL then create a Unibeast bootable mavs & upd8 to Mavs then run Multibeast in there i'll

so, what you were trying to say that regardless of what OSX I use (SL, ML, Mavs) I would still have to use iBoot Haswell everytime I boot up my machine?
and also should I use a separate HDD or SSD for the OSX install? in that way I wouldn't have to erase win7 on my primary HDD.
