Right now I have 2 sticks, 4GB each. So you are saying I should remove one of them so I only have 1 stick (4GB) and then boot with flag maxram=2048. Am I right?

I removed the graphics card, i disabled VT-d and Turbo Boost and tried again with the flags you specified. I got exactly the same output.
