Ok, I guess I'll continue the conversation with myself. I did more research, looks like I need to manually edit the kext of voodoohda, and put the device id in there. Is that the best way, because I am inexperienced and it sounds tricky.

Anybody have ideas? I think the problem may be that the gt240 card is recognized as a native audio device, and so conflicts with Voodoo? Is this correct, and if so, how can I fix it? :banghead:
