Unable to Access Internet After Sleep

Can anyone help? I'm happy to provide any more relevant information, I'm just not sure what more I can provide... If anyone can point me in the right direction as far as that's concerned it would be appreciated!

Unable to Access Internet After Sleep

Update; As of this morning it will no longer connect even after the fix I described above. The furthest I can get is entering the network password which results in "Wi-Fi has the self assigned IP address x.x.x.x and will not be able to connect to the internet." If anyone can offer any help, it...

Unable to Access Internet After Sleep

Hi guys, I'm using the Fenvi T919 and I'm having some issues with my internet connection after sleep. Normally my card works fine (WiFi, Bluetooth, handoff) but I've noticed if my computer sleeps, upon wake bluetooth and handoff still functions fine, but my Wi-Fi cannot connect to the internet...

Recording Audio When Using Realtek ALC898 (Soundflower / Screenflow)

Hi everyone, I really need you guys' help (working to a deadline ). I'm currently working on a college project which requires me to record video and audio from my Hackintosh, the problem is I'm using the modified audio kext for my ALC898 audio. Without it, my audio doesn't work at...

    Small Abnormalities

Hi guys, I'm having a little trouble with my build (Yosemite) right now. Recently I've been noticing problems which I didn't experience when I had Mavericks installed earlier this year. All the problems are minimal which is making me wonder if I'm missing something simple, for example in the...

    Using The Official Apple Keyboard

Would that still be suitable to use if I'm running on a computer, not a laptop? I'm also using AppleUSBXHCI but I use Chameleon. That seems to be the only difference though... I'm really at a loss on what to try at this point. I don't have Windows installed currently (still getting the money...

    Using The Official Apple Keyboard

Thanks for such a fast response. I've tried with all of my available USBs now, all of which cause the same problem. I took your advice and had a look at the power being supplied: It's absolutely fine for the keyboard itself, but connected devices aren't recieving nearly enough in some cases...

    Using The Official Apple Keyboard

Hi everyone, Just today I bought the official (wired) apple keyboard with two built-in USB ports. The keyboard itself is working perfectly, hotkeys and all. The problem is, the two USB ports don't function as intended. When I plug a device into them, the devices are recognised but they shows as...

    Whole OS 'Stuttering'

Hi all, I've noticed after using my build (all specs on my profile) for a while, the whole OS (Yosemite) begins to 'stutter' at random intervals. I use 'stutter' as a loose term because I'm not sure how else to describe it. Basically the system, or at least the graphics, become unresponsive for...

Issues Installing Mavericks on the June CustoMac

Thanks again for all this help. I set everything to optimized defaults and disabled the onboard graphics card like you said. Booting with -x worked fine but without this flag I got a kernel panic: I forgot to thank you earlier, you were right; I don't have to boot with the maxmem flag anymore...

Issues Installing Mavericks on the June CustoMac

Ok, I did the clean install and everything ran absolutely fine. I've just run Multibeast and chose to go DSDT free as I believe my setup is already compatible but after restarting, the computer has hung here for 10 minutes now... Any ideas? That's without any bootflags besides -v Booting with...

Issues Installing Mavericks on the June CustoMac

Thanks for the reply! Dang, case sensitive? Now I feel dumb. So from what I can tell, Deadbeef errors are usually related to RAM? I just checked and, if it is related to the memory, I don't think it's a hardware installation problem because both 4GB sticks are being recognized by the BIOS...

Issues Installing Mavericks on the June CustoMac

After doing a little more research, I found some people also disabled XHCI in their BIOS to prevent the kernel panic although - after also disabling it - I'm still getting the same panic at the logon screen... No luck.

Issues Installing Mavericks on the June CustoMac

Issues Installing Mavericks on the June CustoMac (screenshot) Hi guys, I'm having a few issues with the Mavericks installation on my Hackintosh. The install file should be absolutely fine as I downloaded it myself from a friend's iMac and used the installation guide on this site to prepare a...

Hackintosh Compatibility with this Built to Specification Laptop

Ah, thank you very much for that! I'll remember that for the install process. On the note of WiFi, am I correct in thinking the Killer wireless cards don't work either? I'm pretty sure they don't. :eh:

Hackintosh Compatibility with this Built to Specification Laptop

By custom built I mean the specifics are customizable from pre-selected options. And yes, it's Nvidia Optimus, if that helps. So, it would seem both cards are present which creates added issues, correct?
