G5 USB 3.0 Front Panel and Audio

I'd be in for a couple. I need one for my FreeNAS right now, so what's your timeframe? Would this be just the blank board or a fully assembled front panel?

X8DTi-F - Dual Xeon x5650 "Cheap" 21068 Geekbench score build.

I tried that board but didn't like it because the 82576 LAN didn't work and no audio, so I got a X8DAL-3 which gives me working Ethernet and 8 SAS ports. I'm running 2 X5675 Xeons for a GB3 score of ~26500. Email is so much faster now!!!

    Supermicro X8DTi Compatibility

I built one with 2 X5520 Xeon's and 24GB of 1066Mhz ECC REG RAM, a XFX GTX650Ti and a USB audio device. I got a GB3 score of around 15000 on it. It worked fine, except for the 82576 Ethernet ports. I since found an X8DAL-3, which has the 82574L Ethernet, which are supported by...

    Geekbench score question

That seems reasonable. I get about the same in my Z77/3770K IB rig that is overclocked to 4.2Ghz. My 12 core (Dual Westmere-EP x5765) rigs gets 21000 in OS X and 24000 in Windows. I don't understand why there's such a difference and why I'm not getting scores similar to what a real Mac Pro...

    Ethernet Madness!

Have you found any solutions? I've got the same motherboard with 2 5540's in it now but have 2 X5675's (six core 3.06Ghz) coming next week. Getting ethernet to work is driving me nuts.

FameSMC.kext 6.8.1307 giving bad HWMonitor values

I'm getting questionable values for CPU Core 1 speed at times... Up to 2147.48 THz.. I'd love to run my 3770K that fast, but I don't think Moores law has quite gotten that far..

I've had this mobo for a while now and just started playing around with Thunderbolt. I'm trying to get 3 displays working on the HD4000, 1 through HDMI and 2 through MDP adapters on the TB ports. I can get either the HDMI monitor to work or both of the monitors on the TB ports, but never all...

    First Time Hackintosh configuration High-end

Welcome. If you do a search on 'ASROCK X79 Extreme', you'll find several threads of users who have gotten that board to work on previous versions (Lion, Mtn Lion), so I think it should be a workable configuration but you'll have to identify all the bits and pieces you need from the search results.

OS X 10.10 Yosemite unveiled at WWDC

Everyone decrying the changes in these yearly updates, would you rather have an entirely new O/S every 4 to 6 years like MS does and risk having something like the Redmond massive failures that seem to occur every other release?
