I figured out what it was. Because I have a ssd and it ran perfect and everything opened quickly but I figured out my multiplier was stuck at 16x because of 10.7.4 update

That is how it looks for me when i leave it on auto, never actually reaches 38. But what I wanna know..... is how to over clock and reach all p states..... Because the second i overclock it goes from 16 to 20 and some in between numbers then jumps to 48...... and there is a delay when it jumps...

I overclocked with turbo

Okay so i've overclocked my processor to 4.8ghz (i7-2600k) Before i had it at stock and the second i click on an app it opens right away. Now with it overclocked, when i open an app it bounces twice before opening..... wouldn't it be faster?

That sucks you have to apply a patch too, would be nice if it worked OOB or after that nvidia cuda driver. Because then when a new version of OSX comes out you have to wait. And what happened to this build, you sell it?

Okay here is what happens before i overclock: I get a lot of p states, especially in the 30's but when i overclock, it never reaches 30's then jumps to 40's

Speed stepping works just fine. Everything works perfect. I bumped my turbo from 38 to 40 in the bios just to test it, and it jumped up to almost 15,000, so i can't wait to get it to 48 (:
