So I've moved to a new Hard Disk and I think that I've corrupted my Clover bootloader on that drive. I've reinstalled OSX El Capitan and reinstalled clover using multibeast. After install I'm not able to boot up, (on black screen with white apple logo with bar loaded to about 90% until it...
I have a H77N wifi, this is from the GIGABYTE website:
2 x 1.5V DDR3 DIMM sockets supporting up to 16 GB of system memory
Due to a Windows 32-bit operating system limitation, when more than 4 GB of physical memory is installed, the actual memory size displayed will be less than the size of the...
Right, I know this. Basically I'm wondering if the definition of "new installation" means that no OSX has ever been installed on the drive or could reinstalling the OS be considered a "new installation". Seems vague. I keep updating and have been doing fine for about seven years or so, but I...
I had perfectly working audio but I just moved to a new harddrive and I'm having trouble getting audio on my Giga H77n. I installed the proper codec with multibeast, restarted many times and it's not finding my audio device. I guess my next move will be to reinstall El Capitan but I'm wondering...
So in theory, I should be able to install Clover onto my external before installing the new internal, then clone, then install clover again on THAT drive to bypass unibeast? Still have a working unibeast drive I'm just trying to have a better understanding. Once I lost an installer file for the...
Just talking to myself here. The EFI partition holds the bootloader which is why it doesn't get transferred with CCC, I can use multibeast to install the bootloader to the efi partition on the new drive.
Unibeast is awesome.
So I had some physical errors on my HDD (seagate 1tb barracudda) and I cloned it to boot successfully from an external usb drive. Now I'm gonna replace that internal drive real quick. It's gonna boot fine to my external after replacing the drive right? Anything in the BIOS gonna mess me up as...
Safari keeps crashing on startup and I want to do a clean install but mac says you need to reinstall the OS to do this. I'm using clover and multibeast, if I reinstall Capitan what is the easiest way to go about it?
Also, Audio for realtek alc 892 not waking after sleep for me. Reading everything I can becuase it's probably something I missed, but neither of my problems were present in previous osx versions.
TP-LINK N900 not finding wireless networks after installation. I'm getting ethernet directly from my MOBO but I can't get wi-fi running correctly. Tried searching for kext/etc. Was working fine on previous installations with no additional code.

How do I tell what "series" customac I have for UEFI vs Legacy boot modes? My current jawn does show the BIOS screen when I boot up.

I would actually rather upgrade to El Capitan first, and I have downloaded it from the store but it doesn't show up on my unibeast installer.
