There is some kind of issue with the ALC892 driver included in MultiBeast 6.2.1. If you install the version in MultiBeast 6.1, the problem will be fixed.

I just discovered that Multibeast 6.2.1, which I used for my build, has a bug in the ALC892 kext file. Most users with the "sound not working after waking from sleep" issue are reporting that installing the ALC892 kext from Multibeast 6.1.0 fixes the problem.

Thanks for the reply! Since I am still waiting for my 250GB Samsung 840 Evo and Bluetooth module to arrive, I went ahead and ran through the guide. It wasn't as hard as it looked like it was going to be, and Messages is working like a champ. The only thing I've seen that is a little off right...
Just for clarification, did you ONLY install the modules.zip file, or did you run through everything listed on that page including installing the modules.zip file?

Thanks for the reply. No, but I see from looking at it now that my drive must have turned out perfectly, considering the amount of space used. Why is it that I can only see 1 file instead of all the other stuff on the drive? No biggie, just curious.
