I was able to get the ethernet to en0 by unplugging my wireless card while installing, but still can't connect to icloud.

I know other people have had the blank screen problem, but I haven't found any solutions... Has nobody solved this? Are people just not using icloud?

I did the EFI method, and although mavericks was booting fine before, now after the apple boot screen, my screen goes black. I don't know why this would happen. It doesn't seem to hang on the verbose screen, but appears to boot normally for the most part. Any help? Or should I just try reinstalling?

This also worked for me, just took a long time to load, so if blank, grey screen comes up, just wait a few minutes to see if it goes through!

Ok, I reinstalled windows, and that didn't get wireless to work. Ethernet also wouldn't work, and windows wouldn't let me install any drivers. Booted in Ubuntu (didn't install) and wireless works fine there, boot back in lion and wireless is still not working there, though ethernet works fine...

Does anyone have an alternate solution? I deleted windows so can't dual boot, but am having the same problem...

I seem to have gotten past the boot problem by partitioning my drive. Now it hangs on the grey apple screen though. Other people's solutions have not been working for me.
