Any progress in your installation so far?

Oh, right, i think its the same as the basic 4530, specs are: i3 2310 Chipset QM67 Express Intel HD3000 Broadcom Wifi (according to the site im considering getting one from, i guess it could work depending on the model, if not, ill just get another one).

Is there any report of successful installs on this?, the hardware seems to be identical to the 4530 so i assume it shouldnt be much of a issue (other than the WIFI card that seems to vary even between 4530). Im mostly wondering, is there any feature thats enabled through DSDT on the 4530 that...

Well, seems like the link i posted (and removed) is very buggy for a lot of people, if you were unlucky enough to catch it anywhere (im sorry if you catched it here :( ), just go to /Library/Update/zzz061-9753 and run the update manually... I guess that'll teach me to wait for official links...

Just running the DSDT from here, fakesmc and nullcpupowermanagement in /Extras, and just VoodooHDA in /S/L/E

Well, my point was, its still not updating, stuck at 10.6.4, every time i try to install the update, it just logs me out.

Downloaded the Combo Update from (removed link) sadly, it wont work, as soon as it finishes installing and asks me to reboot, it will just log me out and wont do anything else. The Software Update now seems to do the same thing... Any ideas?

Im using Graphics Enabler with my Zotac GTS250 and i get 25FPS on Cinebench, L4D2 works really nice, Starcraf 2 does run okay too, no major issues
