Related to sleep issue when closing the lid, what it happens in my case is... I think it goes to sleep.. but I have to close de lid and open it twice to wake up the system. Have you tried that?
I have the very same strange behaviour when using HDMI on this laptop! It works... but as soon as I disconnect the cable... laptop screen goes black :(. By the way.... do you have your usb ports working using SSDT file?
By using last version of AppleALC kext (you can find it in acidanthera github user) you can first look for your exact laptop/codec model (mine is included as Honor Magic Book 14) and then try the proper audio layout id inside Clover's config.plist :D. I'd try to make a guide for this model...
Hello everyone.. so I have an almost fully working machine (Huawei Matebook D 14 / Honor Magicbook 14) runing Mojave 10.14.6, audio is also working but I was wondering if there's a chance to get all 4 speakers to work. Yes... not a 2.1 combo but a 2x2.0 combo speakers...

Hi! Is this thread related to 14 inches model? Because someone started one based on the Matebook D 14 model but whenever I try to visit it again, it says: you have no permission....
It's possible that you need Core Patch. I needed it to get my 1440p monitor to work at resolution bigger than 1080p. My monitor is plugged into the HDMI port of my Nvidia 970GT.

Do you have full graphics acceleration...
Not thunderbolt capable our mobo. At least it didn't get Gigabyte/Intel certification. USB 3.1 Type C kinda working here, though I've just been able to test it with USB 3.0 devices.
UPDATE:
SOLVED - It was the adapter I was using the issue. I've just bought an Apple USB to USB-C adapter and everything works as it should. USB 3.0 work without a glitch, 5Gbps speed. I wonder if native USB 3.1 devices work with 10Gbps speed.
Thanks for your time buddy! Here:
USB31-TEST-A : USB 2.0 DEVICE (PENDRIVE) on USB 3.1 TYPE C PORT + USB 3.0 DEVICE (EXTERNAL HDD) on USB 3.1 TYPE A (RED) PORT
USB31-TEST-B: USB 3.0 DEVICE (EXTERNAL HDD) on USB 3.1 TYPE C PORT // IT DOESN'T MOUNT + USB 2.0 DEVICE (PENDRIVE) on USB 3.1 TYPE A...
Right now the only issue I have with this mobo (GA z170n - Gaming 5) is USB 3.1 Type C not working properly. Others seem to have solved this issue. I would say, besides that, it's pretty much flawless.
