I am using the FakePCIID.kext and FakePCIID_HD4600_HD4400.kext, and have the fake id in clover and the ig-platform as well. The graphics works awesome on the laptop screen, but nothing on hdmi, and hot plug which i know is an issue.

i tried a bunch of different ones with no luck, edited the ssdt and clover plist. a couple worked but no hdmi. I guess I am out of luck on this one

Plug and play works in linux, the only way to use the optimus card is the optirun cmd. I am not sure if it possibly passes through the nvidia card to the integrated intel card. Where would I look to find all the different ig-platform-id's I have been looking, I was not sure if there was a list...

only have linux lol, i dont use windows at all. I will check though, i know in Kali optirun is what drives the gpu, I should be able to just plug in and see.

Hey Rehabman, what fixed my kernel panic issues when using Atheros 9285. Was Toleda's kext, and after still was getting panics, in bios I EHCI/XHCI Hand-off and installed GenericUSBXhci.kext and now I am having no issues. Sometimes I just need to boot and sleep for audio to work

Lastly, I woke up in the morning and turned it on and no sound again lol. After waking from sleep it worked. Odd but I guess i just need to make it sleep first then audio works fine, have you ever heard of this, no audio until sleep?
