Is there a way to control the LED brightness on Mac? The LED keeps its settings on Windows, but when I boot to Yosemite it goes to full brightness.

I'm running the latest HWMonitor (6.14.xx) but I've seen images online with people having GPU temps/freq show in HWMonitor. How do I get that? Secondly, is it possible to get the menubar icon to show a temp of my choosing?
