So, Mountain Lion is out now so I cloned my Lion install to another partition, installed Mt Lion with Mt Lion version of Unibeast 1.5.1
It updated my install great then I ran MultiBeast 4.6.1 with the UserDSDT option and the latest DSDT from this thread. The kexts i installed are IntelE1000...
Sorry I can't suggest a card since but I have read on here the FireWire cards with Texas Instruments chipsets are the better ones which both those Syba brand ones have.
I'm looking for a PCIe one myself that's also for audio.
edit: looking at this thread viewtopic.php?f=264&t=44226
he suggests...
Get a new unibeast install working and migrate the MBP via target disk mode with firewire or take the MBP hdd out and put it in a caddy.
I haven't done this on a hackintosh but i've migrated plenty of macs to newer macs and it works well.
Thanks for the help, ALC898 audio out is working well.
I got a date/time issue. I had to reboot after starting OSX locked up, it booted into windows and i noticed the time was 10 hours behind.
What's the best way to fix this? I guess this is the CMOS time reset problem i've read about.
paumm2006, read the unibeast guide.

you run multibeast after the install and then you select the extra kernel extensions to install.
I wanna know what else besides intel ethernet and nullcpu we should install.
OK, what else besides NullCPUPowerManagement and IntelE1000 are suggested for a new MultiBeast install?
I'm going to use the UserDSDT option with DSDT you have submitted btw.
Thanks.
