Hahaha 'skip the pain' the pain hasn't started yet:mad: So I've followed the steps to install El Capitan and as I go to boot from usb it says "Can't find match_kernel"o_O I'm stumped.

Ok so I've tried so many concoctions of uninstallation and reinstallation with iLok, Mbox Pro and Pro Tools and I'm hitting the same walls. I'm thinking the best thing to do is upgrade to El Capitan, upgrade to Pro Tools 12 and have everything fresh and shiny and new... Does that sound like a...

So I've uninstalled Pro Tools, iLok and repaired permissions (there was nothing to repair anyway) and still the same result...any ideas? This "Mac Os Version Not Yet Set" is not making sense.. Along with everything else :banghead:

when you guys say you reinstalled audio drivers from MB, does that mean you have to check only the audio boxes or check all the boxes in whatever specific combo needed for your setup again? Like I'm sure it was for most first time hackintoshers, it took me days to get the MB configuration right...
