[Solved] El Capitan won't boot - cannot be verified

Hi there,

All was going well, then my activity monitor started showing 99% CPU being used by mdworker.
I closed all programs and restarted - big mistake!
Now I can't boot :(

I really appreciate your help with this as I am really out of my depth here.

Nevermind! I fsck_hfs'ed the hell out of it and then waved a bit of fsck -fy magic. So far so good - fingers crossed.
