Now I have to do a new fresh install to try this out Lol.
Stop working on DSDT, I have a fully working one, unless your system is different than mine.
Sorry for late replies last week guys, I'm a bit busy with my desktop hackintosh :p
Edit: Everything is working, thanks for the kext.
The full...
Please upload your patched AppleIntelSNBGraphicsFB.kext, lemme test it.
Weird thing is, when I use vanilla OSX with unibeast installation, graphics doesn't work, and when I use N**esh's OSX installation, it works OOTB.
And As you would guess N**esh is not allowed on this forum and it need a...
The battery is probably actually low on health, it did happen to me.
Idk about the CPU though.
Did you figure out how you got graphics working? So that I can write the guide.
I'm not exactly sure, but why not use it?
There's a guy who made a collection of all sandy bridge ssdts on this forum.
Edit: that guy is actually RehabMan
http://www.tonymacx86.com/hp-probook-4530s/56622-ssdts-all-i3-i5-i7-please-test-give-feedback.html
Sound: VoodooHDA 2.8.4
CPU Power Management: Multibeast: Patched AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement
And SSDT for you CPU, you can find it on google or even on these forums.
Sleep will work after installing patched AICPUPM
Taskbar in Mavericks is on all monitors.
Mine is currently working without edits, I say we both work on each side and see who gets further!
Thanks RehabMan
I got it to fully work under that hack.
This is funny. No DSDT Edits or anything.
I'll copy the kexts over to a vanilla installation and see what happens.
I'll upload the kexts anyways so you don't need the hack
Hint: It begins with N
At any rate, I'm going to try my old method (using the hack, can't mention it's name here).
If it works, I'm just going to use those kexts in a Vanilla installation and see what happens.
I used HD 3000 with low resolution,
Generic EDID, removed ig-platform, removed dual link, used my own EDID extracted from Windows.
I also applied Brightness fix as you said.
Still black screen though.
I can now work, I have finished my exams.
Though I don't have Windows on this machine, how can I get EDID in another way?
EDIT: I'm going to steal my bro's Hard drive which has Windows 8 and then check out this EDID thing :P
Applied All said patches and it didn't work..
Sorry guys, I'll have to start studying now or else I'll fail at chemistry.
I'll continue work on this in two days.
By the way the only thing that's not working now is Graphics, even Power management works..
Thanks, I'll try all those.
By the way the chipset is in the signature: HM65
It's not a mixed config because HD3K is supported natively on HM65, both are Sandy Bridge.
Don't try it, it didn't work this time for some reason..
Last time I used a hack I found on a t*****t (can't mention here sorry) it worked after updating to 10.9.1
This is REALLY strange..
My problem now is a black screen... It only works when I plug in an HDMI monitor, otherwise, I get a black screen and the laptop's screen would not work..
EDIT: The problem here, is when I boot normally it would give me a black screen after fully booting.
After that, when I plug an HDMI cable...
I do backup my kexts though.
Anyways I ran into a problem now and I need help!
I can't download OSX 10.9.0 from the Appstore, which is needed for the installation..
I just installed 10.9.1 and I can't get graphics to work.
Is there a way to download 10.9.0, or trick the system to update once...
I know, but in my experience however hard you try to enable HD3000 on the laptop, it will not work until you do a software update.
I tried 10.7.3, didn't work until deleted.
Updated to 10.7.4, works fine
10.9.0, didn't work until deleted.
10.9.1, worked fine.
I know, it's weird.
It's simple, I'll write it in the guide in a few minutes Days.
Actually the guide will be a video on youtube because making a video seems easier for me and for anyone who wants to install.
After you install Mavericks, delete all the kexts related to Intel HD:
1- Boot -s
2- /sbin/mount -uw /
3-...
