I've the same problem with my Sapphire Radeon HD 6950. I tried to install some kext but with no luck.

I've just reinstall ML. I've installed also the kext patched. But when I boot, now I get ML desktop whith a 3MB display graphics (it says 'no kext loaded'). I don't know if i can access my GC BIOS cauz I didn't patched (IGFX). Thanks for the help.

I've tried your recommandations but it doesn't work for me. To sum up : 1 - i've install the radeonaccelerator kext 2 - i've copied your org.chameleon.Boot.plist I can run ML but it says that no kext are loaded in Hardware->Graphics/Display :(

I've succeed installing and booting Mountain Lion with my Saphirre Radeon HD 6950 1 GO. I've read some post from netkas blog and i copied the AMDRadeonAccelerator.kext to my system but it does'nt change anything. ML sets up a default 3MB graphics display :(.

I've done the installation many times and try to boot with multiples options (-x, GraphicsEnablre...AtiConfig=Duckweed...and so on). But the best I could do is to boot on white screen with a mouse cursor which can be moved (system is not crashing). Thanks by advance. My PC is : SAPPHIRE...
