I am unable to get QE/CI hardware acceleration to work with Intel HD 4000. The driver is simply not being loaded: System Information says 'No Kext Loaded' under the 'Graphics/Displays' category. I'm using Chimera 1.11 as my bootloader.
The mobo I'm using is an Asus P8Z77-V LX with BIOS...
I appreciated that instructions cannot be provided for unreleased software. The gist of my question is - Is it possible to install OS X with just an Ivy Bridge cpu?
I've seen posts saying they've installed OS X with a SB cpu and then swapped in an IB cpu.
So it seems Gigabyte is the only option to avoid trouble.
Regarding the other questions, could anyone explain how I would go about installing Mountain Lion once it is released? Would I have to install Snow Leopard beforehand?
