Yes, I'm satisfied with this controller. You CAN'T install Mavericks directly into a HDD/SSD connected cuz installator do not recognize this drives, but after whole installation using sata 2 connector and installing 3rd part sata 3 controller kext from unibeast everything works fine...

After few days I found solution. The problem was caused by apci kext. So here are the kexts that I used to get FULLY working xw8600 with Mavericks 10.9.0

How did you get Yosemite working? I have full working Mavericks but my PC restart every time I hit "boot from usb" I tried boot from HDD and choose USB Yosemite installator and it run but ended up with errors (-x -v -f PCIRootUID=1 GraphicsEnabler=No (amd))

You use SATA drive? Try BLUE SATA port on your motherboard (Main Boot Port), set your Boot Order correctly.
