Argh. That didn't work either. So frustrating to have a nearly perfect system but yet be so far.

I'm running the latest Big Sur with CSRUTIL disabled via Recovery Disk terminal session. I'm going to try modding the SystemConfiguration NetworkInterfaces.plist and add the ethernet interface that way. I'll report back.

Here's what I get when I run IOReg. I don't understand why it's there but I can't access it via the Network Preference panel. I've even deleted the /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration folders w/o any change.

Thanks for the tips. I accidentally sent the config from mods I made based upon a similar build I found online. I corrected the errors and confirmed that the motherboard indeed has Intel i219-v chipset. I've also included the Hackintool screenshot with the address for the ethernet port.

Opencore 0.6 with latest kexts... didn't change the CSR-config bit yet. I upgraded last night with only 1 hitch. On first reboot, it tried to launch EFI and failed so I restarted and it proceeded to complete installation. My guess is that it wanted to update firmware. Will fine tune more over...

Easiest update ever using OpenCore. Used combo installer and walked away. Much easier than Clover.

I also used this method. For some reason, I have to drop the .sh to make it work. Running 10.13.3 w/o lags using old driver. Not sure why this is happening.

FYI: Sleep issues resolved after moving FakeSMC and MausiEthernet to S/L/E (instead of the the clover "other" inject).

Anyone have sleep working? Under 10.12, my Hack woke perfectly from sleep (even over the network). I have same settings as now but using Aptio2 instead of regular Aptio. Darkwake 8, hibernate 0. Strange.

Turns out that the problem was my config.plist was messed up. I was still able to open it in TextEdit so I just created a new config.plist with the same settings. It was working fabulously until I updated Shiki/Lilu/AppleALC and NvidiaGraphicsFixup. Now it crashes on startup. I'll pull the drive...
