Hi! I have a problem with a patch for battery status. In Sierra the patch for Asus-N55SL/Vivobook worked perfectly fine for my Asus n552vw(I even was the one that reported that it worked for this machine), but in High Sierra it doesn't work anymore. Any ideas? Attached everything as zip as...
I have been patching my dsdt with the ones from your guide and some have worked flawlessly, but my laptop model is not listed as compatible. Where can I update the list? I fixed the battery with battery_ASUS-N55SL.txt
It worked! You were right I needed to patch the CoreDisplay. From now on Ill read very carefully your guide to fix my remaining stuff(Battery,Display brightness). Thank you very much!
Ok I'll have a look. Out of curiosity, if i had a normal 1080p screen, it should have worked out of the box? I didn't know the screen res was such a problem
Sorry I forgot about the screen. Yes it is, i have yours and my original, because if i use the .plist for hd530 i cannot boot. Ill report back. Thanks!
Sorry for replying so late I have been busy with college. I tried using that plist, but I got stuck on the apple logo. Whats funny is that Sierra loaded correctly. I can tell by the hdd light and my bluetooth mouse being connected. I got stuck here :(
Hi!
Im having problems with the hd 530 on sierra. I have researched everywhere with no success. Im not very familiar with dsdt patching so any help would be appreciated. Uploaded a report with my full system specs. Thanks in advance!!
Already done that´s why I went straight to sierra for its higher compatibility with Skylake based notebooks. Do i have a solution?? or my Asus is simply not hackintoshable??
