    GA-Z77X-UD5H Sleep / Wake - going towards a solution

It's cool. It turned out to be the Firewire Drobo was waking it up. Switched the Drobo to use USB and it slept just fine.

    GA-Z77X-UD5H Sleep / Wake - going towards a solution

I'll have to try this. Do you have WOL enabled? I recently found out after Bridgehelper 5.0, with WOL on.. I was able to sleep but wasn't able to shutdown. Every time I would shut down it would just reboot. Now I'm able to shutdown with WOL disabled but can't sleep, it would just go to sleep for...

    I have a Gigabyte Z77 UD5H so that doesn't apply to me.

    Ivy Bridge Speedstep?

I just re-ran the Geekbench test. It's now higher than before with the new Bridgehelper 5.0. http://browser.primatelabs.com/geekbench2/792954 it's at 14270.

    Ivy Bridge Speedstep?

I'm already using the latest bridge helper and that's why I'm wondering why in DWMonitor it says the frequencies are at 0.

    Ivy Bridge Speedstep?

I'll have to get a new one later after the update but this is one I did shortly after I got 10.7.3 installed. http://browser.primatelabs.com/geekbench2/680758 13421 was the score.

    Ivy Bridge Speedstep?

I thought with 10.7.4 & Bridgehelper 5.0 speedstep would work on Ivy Bridge. Is this true? If so.. wouldn't HWMonitor show different frequencies? They're all still saying 0 for me after I did those updates. Unless I did something wrong..

    Intel i7 3770k + Gigabyte GA-Z77x-UD5H install and testing

I'm a first time hackintosh-er and I got this board & this processor to start. Gotta say, much easier than I thought. I would highly recommend this board for future Ivy Bridge builders. I installed both ethernet drivers but it seems that only the aetheros works. But I had that one installed...

    Hackintosh pro Success! Z77X-UD5H / i7-2600K / HD 6870

Silly question.. but do the drives have power? Have you tried just having the SSD plugged in? Does Windows installer see the drives?

Sabrent BT Not Recognized at all

Eh. I don't ever put to sleep. I don't even know if sleep works.. I have the UD5H which I hear should work natively.. but I haven't even tried. I shut down every once in awhile and I don't mind since it boots up pretty quick with the SSD.

It did not flash on the adapter. I sent it back to Amazon for a refund & order the IOGear one that is known to work with Mac Pros.

Sabrent BT Not Recognized at all

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002SBF108 I bought the above BT adapter. I don't see it at all in the system profiler or system preferences. Is there something I need to do specifically to get it to work? This is the one I thought everyone said worked OOB, right?

Ivy Bridge 3770k_Gigabyte z77x-ud5h_10.7.4 Problem with boot

I think there's a way to just copy the specific kernel file in Terminal from the flash drive to the HD.. What I did was remove the drive from the machine, plugged it into my MBP with a sata to usb.. and ran it fro my MBP onto the drive. PITA.. but.. worked.

Anyone see this upon starting up?

You can't do 2 DVIs and 1 HDMI since the HDMI is technically linked to one of the DVIs. The card has 5 outputs but supports 4 actual outputs. I'll have to try the sleep thing.. I have yet tried to put this machine to sleep.

Anyone see this upon starting up?

Nope. Still happening. I just make sure I boot with the third monitor unplugged and then plug it in after it's booted.
