Ah, so does this mean that it's not just an issue of hardware compatibility between motherboard and processor, but it can be a physical one too? Ie. an older i7 may have different connectors that won't even go into a newer motherboard?

I have done a fresh install,
I've put dsdt on desktop and run Multibeast with advised settings - one time renaming the dsdt to just "dsdt.aml" and another time leaving it as is.
Everything works and boots, but no HDMI recognition at all...
