My experience with 10.9.2 so far has also been really really bad. I just switched bad to 10.9.1. The whole process was such a pain.

I also got the exact same kernel panic. Tried reinstalling all the kexts and everything works just fine now except for the audio output. There is none. Anyone knows what the problem is?

Excellent guide! I got the whole system up and running without even running into the slightest problem. Just need the HDMI out now. Hope we'll see that sometime soon. Update: Funny thing. I tried plugging in the HDMI cable to the computer and the thingy actually works, just no audio, only...
