Hi Guys,
I've recently made the change to clover and so far I like it better. Previously was using the Unibeast/Multibeast thing. I also updated my bios to Uefi and I'm having issues overclocking as well as getting my ram to be recognized. In my "About this Mac" area my ram shows "32gb ???"...

I have not, I'm wondering if it has anything to do with me using overscan. If overscans not on my monitor has the little black edges all the way around.
Ok so I have the card working just fine I can set 1080p for my resolution but when I try to play games in that resolution the whole screen jitters/shakes. I can play on 1600x900 but not 1900x1080 ir else it does that. Has anyone heard of this or know what I can try? The games I'm trying to play...
Ok so my first issue is when my hackintosh boots up the boot screen and often my wallpaper do not boot in full resolution. I've attached an example of my wallpaper.
I've added<key>Graphics Mode</key><string>1920x1080x32</string> to my .plist and still no change on either the wallpaper issue nor...
Was literally about to start another post with the same question. I'm also considering an SSD but I've been reading the newegg reviews and watching things on youtube that make me feel like they're slightly unreliable? Yet there's also a couple video reviews on youtube that claim SSD's should...
Wow.. What honestly would require that amount of RAM.. I'm speechless lol.
I was thinking about having 32gb at one point and even that felt slightly like overkill.
What would you say about this ram?

It's about the same price as what I was planning to pay for 4x4gb
Edit: Also does anyone know the maximum amount of ram that Lion can support?
Thanks for the quick reply, you've helped me before I believe.
Are heatsinks on ram a must have or will it be ok if I chose ram without?
I will have 3 case fans and the hyper 212 of course so I should have decent airflow.
So I've got most of the parts for my new hack ordered and here and all I'm waiting out at this point is my ram, power supply and graphics card. Here's what I need to know though, I haven't ordered my ram because I don't know if it will fit on with the heatsink and on my motherboard so I need to...
What do you guys think about this card, it's a little higher than my original price range but I think it may be worth it.

Awesome thanks for all your guys input. I think my final verdict is the Radeon 6870. In the future I think I'll get a nice nvidia though they seem to be really good.
Alrighty, thanks! I'll downsize my psu and save a few dollars. Unfortunately I already have the cpu and don't really want to waste time and money to send it back.
In way of graphics is Radeon an decent choice or is there a nvidia card that would be better? They're both equally compatible...
