I've been trying to get audio via HDMI from my 4850 without success. I read many articles and tutorials, including "Lion HDMI Audio" and its three parts. I know it was not made for 48xx, but I gave it a try and went as far as possible (and yes, it failed). Does anyone know how to make it work...

You can try this: viewtopic.php?f=162&t=31664 If you have one of the cards cited. If you don't, you can try... I have an HD 4850 and I couldn't make it work. Still looking for a method that works.
