I removed my EVGA GT210 when I replaced a Pentium G620 with a i5 2500k. Using the HD3000 there were artifacts that came and went. I went into Bios and reduced the ram allocation from 480 to 384 and they went away.
No, it looks epic. I'll have to try this when I lose interest in my current hack case. I have a QS2001 and a Sawtooth. Parting out the QS2001 and the 13 years old Sawtooth is still in service. Bought her new for 2700$ in 1999.
If you have an external enclosure or a usb to sata adapter you can manually pluck her important files (using another mac) and start over... Good luck. I barfed my hack but had two back ups and survived after freaking out for hours.
