Same situation here - worked on a friend's MBA with a problematic SSD and booting from a clover-enabled USB HDD enclosure as a test. Once I shutdown I had the sound chime replay constantly with the black screen.

That's all I was doing, but over in the upgrade thread I mentioned that I figured I was doing something wrong / missing entries I needed to update (I'm honestly pretty green at messing with the file).
Makes sense and maybe I just need to fiddle with the plist file more. Thanks!

RE: BCM943224HMS. Had a devil of a time getting this to work -- gave up on the upgrade and connected to Ethernet to grab the Yosemite download and create a USB drive to rebuild from scratch. Didn't work either. :( Tried Clover Configurator as well to change to MacBookAir5,2, with no luck...
Attached. Current one just has the MBA changes in the Product Name and Family. When I started mucking with the other items I couldn't boot up and needed to use my Mavericks USB to boot / back out. Again, probably more my inexperience than anything else.

First off, many thanks for your awesome work on this. I've been running Mavericks / Clover off my 8460p for a few months now. Some video glitches in high res mode where I have to go into Preferences to correct but nothing earth-shattering.
