Thanks! I did a lot more of reading and it seems the only OS X working for this card is Leopard, maybe SL. That version is too old for todays standards. I ended putting the HDD on another PC (2nd gen Intel Core i5 and NV 9600GT), installed HS on it and everything worked good there.
