Did you manage to get the patch to work, been trying for a couple of days and having no luck. Created the the kext from the 10.12.3 plist, inserted it into kext util but upon restart the NVME section of my system report wont find the drive still, Bios does though.

Yes, followed the direct update guide. Installs El Cap with no hiccup, double checked my Bios settings too but everything seems in order. Created a new installation usb to be double sure and also tested another USB port.
