ASUS N56V - Hackintosh Yes or No?

I am receiving a panic on boot now. I added a kext for my Atheros AR9485 WiFi card and added it to the config, but it panics every time now. Once I remove them, it boots okay. Panic OC folder attached as well as the log.

I don't recall, but I will. Since I already have Catalina installed, do I still replace it on the thumb drive or do I install in Catalina itself? I still have not moved the EFI folder, so I am booting from my thumb drive. thx

ASUS N56V - Hackintosh Yes or No?

Up and and running, but cannot figure out booting without USB. I followed your original guide and am using hackintool. I put my EFI on the desktop and mounted my HD. When I browse the EFI drive that is mounted, there is not an existing EFI folder in it. I enabled the hidden folders, but still...

ASUS N56V - Hackintosh Yes or No?

Tried that version, but it didn't work, so I plugged in a bluetooth keyboard and mouse and it worked! What do I need to do to get it showing as a single screen and not 4 mirrored screens?

ASUS N56V - Hackintosh Yes or No?

I’ve tried pressing the space bar but it doesn’t do anything. Just continues to rotate between the mouse and keyboard power on images. I tried other keys and moving on the trackpad too. I see the mouse pointer but it doesn’t move. OC folder attached. Getting closer!!!

I went back thru and rebuilt the thumb drive, files, and config. I now get this screen, but can’t interact with it.

It looks like my BIOS has an available update. Would that help or is it getting stuck due to another reason?

Is there a log file generated that I can provide with more info? I have attached the one on the root of the thumb drive if that helps.

Disabled nvmefix.kext and kept CtlnaAHCIPort.kext, same result. Then disabled nvmefix.kext and kept XHCI-unsupported.kext, same result.

Is there a way to disable it other than removing from the kext folder? I receive the following when I removed it from the folder. This is the same error I received when I removed CtlnaAHCIPort.kext, just referencing that kext instead.

ASUS N56V - Hackintosh Yes or No?

I tried without CtlnaAHCIPort.kext first and it failed almost immediately and said it was missing. I then swapped them and it is stuck at the same spot as the previous screenshot. The files are the same as before, just with XHCI-unsupported.kext removed.

I tried changing the SecureBootModel, but that did not help. I also removed the -wegnoegpu argument, but it didn't solve it either. I reverted those changes and am stuck here. Files attached too.

Making it further. I received the first screen for a bit then proceeded to the second screen where it is now stopped. Should all of those directories in the second image exist or is it something else that is causing it to hang up?
