Ok, resolved now. Started over with the clean config.plist from RehabMan's repo and was able to follow the Backlight guide. Thanks!

Damn, looks way better. Should have just done this from the beginning instead of borrowing some one else's config.plist. Cleared up all of the graphical artifacts I was seeing that I was just going to deal with. Took forever to boot though and many things aren't working again, but shouldn't take...

Unfortunately, removing the FakeID generates the following and the computer just restarts. I'll looking at starting from a config.plist instead of using one from someone else with the same system. (Not sure why, but the screenshot does display properly when clicked on).

Here is an updated debug. Cleaned up some things and have made changes, but still facing the issue.

Oops, didn't realize it was macOS settings under System Settings > Trackpad > Secondary click. The two finger method was less than consistent so switched it to bottom right. All is good now. At least it was an easy one to fix.
