    Asus X299 - Support

Another question- since i dont need windows on this machine, only osx. Should i install windows first and do the initial setup for the TB there, and then delete this partition and install osx only? Dont want to mess things after osx installation, like boot disk numbers. Or should i leave windows...

    Asus X299 - Support

Thank you very much, @djlild7hina! Indeed its a long time hehe. Right now im pretty flexible with TB position, since its in a riser card and on slot 2, gpu in slot 1, wifi bt on slot 7, and usb pci and nvme hd pci which is not installed. Is this still the preferred orientation of cards and slots?

Hello guys, i uploaded a question in a thread regarding the subject but havent got replied. Im running a 10.9.5 hack with clover. Does Carbon Copy Cloner Copy the EFI Partition?

Hello guys, i have another senario- i need to clone my hack system so that i could mount it from extrrnal ssd on a mac pro late 2013. Does this means that the use of ccc is enough and the clone would be bootable as is? The system is 10.9.5 and i cant recall clover version but it is from the same...

    Asus X299 - Support

Ugly as hell! I hate the riser solutions, but the only way is to thiner the plexy on the byksky all over the board by 4mm, shorten its screws and hope that nothing else would change.. im pretty disappointed by the byksky block, it doesn't suit the sage measures or the sage is the exception, who...

    Asus X299 - Support

Thanks again, djlild7hina! Haven't thought of that. Do you know if there's a downside to rise the TB card and by this keeping all as recommended? Maybe its a better route to follow? Its not that hard for me to carv the gpublock in order to make the room for the riser. ;)

    Asus X299 - Support

Thanks, looking forward finishing it! The vertical GPU option can be done, but then I wouldn't be able to access the buttons and headers of the board without removing the card. I thought about a narrow PCI riser, as long as the Titan Ridge, and limit my access to the buttons area and logic...
