    Thanks mate. I will give it a try... BTW, I have the same specs as u, i7-5500u + 8gb ram + QHD... could you please share with me your EFI folder? Do you ahve the brighness working? I have some pendings things to tune up but cant find the time...

    Hi, thanks for the suggestions. I tried all your suggestions but nothing improved... I even tried changing the SMBIOS from MacBookPro12,1 to MacBookAir7,2 and same... even worse I would say Any other suggestions? Thanks and I will be waiting for some support from the forum :P

    Hi again, I did a fresh install using this clover... the installation wen well, no issues, but the system is still really laggy... unusable, am I the only one with this issue? Cant find anything online about it. So you used that clover and all works well for you or you had to do anything else...

    It boots but same issue, really slow performance... it freezes for 5-6 seconds... then works fine for another 3s... and again the coloured circle there... no idea what might be the problem Booting Live Ubuntu and performance is good.. so no hardware defects I guess
