here ya go. I have restarted the process of getting the latest lilu/WEG and USB ports working properly. This plist is the current state. I believe I have DSDT patches that need to be deactivated, but simply haven't gotten there yet.
EDIT: It seems to be getting more interesting. The CPU is a...
OK, then maybe I have less of a handle than I thought :(. I looked through these files, and there is definite verbiage regarding graphics drivers. Also, when I remove these files from ACPI/patched folder, the acceleration is lost.
I've enclosed the two files here. Guidance appreciated as always!
I hear what you're saying. I tried to go down that rout, but it seems Rehabman also included details about the accelerated graphics in the .aml files. So when I removed them, my display lost acceleration. I spent the night trying to reestablish the graphics by following the guides for lilu and...
guys, I seem to be having an issue with my USB. I followed the install guide from Rehabman since I'm running Mojave. Everything runs perfectly fine, but when I plug my iphone into the front ports, I get a "usb accessories disabled" error.
I tried with and without the USBinjectall.kext, but no...
16meg ram, 256gb SSD, i5.
EDIT:
Well, after a reboot, things are snappier now. I can get the keyboard to kick in within a keystroke or two. Mouse is instant. So I guess it just needed a cycle to settle down.
So finally got my Broadcom BCM94352HMB and installed with proper kexts. All works fine, but it seems to take forever for the BT to kick in after boot. Eventually it does, but it takes like 5 min. afterOS comes up, and of course, can't log in, and get the "no bluetooth keyboard" error until it...
OK, I switched over. Everything booted properly (not that I would have expected otherwise), so we'll see if sleep works better. Thanks for such timely feedback. Much appreciated.
As for the graphics ID, I thought that was required to get accelerated graphics working.
It is. And I reviewed your EFI folder you posted for your build (i5 ver.). I compared your plist against mine, and yours is quite different than mine. But I only know enough to be dangerous, so I'm not sure what those deltas mean.
I could try to simply try yours in an alternate boot mode and...
Hi folks. I have a Mojave build running pretty nicely, but my sleep/wake is unstable. I can put it into sleep, but it seems to "deteriorate" over time. Meaning, it will wake from sleep if activated within a few minutes, but if I leave it over night, then it won't come on. Now, the hard drive...
Hi Folks, I've been searching around, but can't find an answer...
I am finishing up a Lenovo M93p. All is working. I ran through the 20 step mapping procedure outlined by Hackintool and I can read/write USB2 and USB3 devices on all ports.
However...in my USB list, I have a number of "HP##"...
SOLVED. See final note.
Hi Folks. Recently built a Lenovo M93p hackintosh.
OS: Mojave 10.14.6
Clover 5.9.3.0
I identified and mapped the USB ports using the instructions in Hackintool. Everything seems to work and look correct to the best of my knowledge.
However, I tried to plug an SSD drive...
@Yorxor what I can tell you from my experience is this...
I have a NUC 7i7DNHE. I tried to install Catalina from the new install procedure described in this tread. I had limited success. I decided to go back to Mojave. After installing it, again, based on the information here (see thread #1582)...
OK, so went through the Rehabman scripts and got my Wifi/BT issues worked out as well as accel. graphics. SO all is good. Honestly, i tried to walk back the changes to see what finally triggered the functionality, but couldn't figure it out. But it works, so...
I think I'll just leave my NUC7...
Hi folks, yes I know, I'm probably going to catch some slack for this, but...
I couldn't get my M.2 broadcom wifi/BT card working in Catalina, nor the accelerated graphics. So...
I did a fresh install and went back to Mojave.
So, I used the EFI folder from this forum (latest from reposted...
Thank you @spottsy. So I took the plunge and rebuilt my hackintosh from scratch (following the most up to date guide). all the old kexts are gone and everything is clean now. I had a heck of a time getting my wifi and bluetooth to work. Wifi was a kext not in the prebuilt EFI folder, and...
So this hackintosh was updated from an original RehabMan install on Mohave, which worked fine. Whie I followed your guide to updating to catalina, everything seemed to work, until I started noticing things lke my bluetooth and now graphs not working. Now, I seem to have kexts two locations...
