I think that's what it is. I carelesly clicked on 'restart' mentioning some kind of update, not even sure what it was. After restart it wouldn't boot. I tried running clover from USB, no luck. Any hints highly appreciated. Thank you
Thank you again for all the help. It mostly works fine on Mojave right now. i did purchase PCIE USB 3.0 extension card that fixed my usb issues instantly and my internal card reader finally works. Native USB 3 still has to be fixed but right now I need to concentrate on work. The only issue left...
I ended up following this guide to install Mojave...It mostly went well. Audio is ****, usb 3.0 works with flash drives and I/O devices, not so much with ext. hdds, wi-fi....I don't think it works. Still trying to figure out where in the system I can see what's what and which drivers are...
Uploaded. Thank you! I did the same procedure on older 8GB usb 2 flash drive ....results are totally different. Bios now sees both physical drive and EUFI partition. Won't boot to either from either usb port .....uuuggghhh
so I switched from back panel, MB mounted USB 3.0 to front panel USB 3.0. Different controller I suppose, it went much furhter this time >>> grey screen, grey screen plus spinning wheel, black screen spinning wheel for 30min. I reseted it and after that I wouldn't be able to boot into that USB...
