    FCPX - RX570 and RX580

That site also has the Bruce 5K FCPX numbers for the RX 590 as I've noticed some people on these forums are running that card as well: https://bartechtv.com/amd-radeon-rx-590-on-hackintosh-mojave-benchmarks-compared-to-rx-570-rx-580-vega-56/

    FCPX - RX570 and RX580

From what I've read that is the going consensus, as well as, anything that is on the current buyers guide listing if you need to look at specific models.

    FCPX - RX570 and RX580

I would guess that technically the Vega 64 will probably handle FCPX the best. I saw a link of benchmarks with FCPX using the BruceX 5K benchmark which seems to support that. https://bartechtv.com/the-best-graphics-cards-for-hackintosh-in-2018/ You'll need to look up the prices on supported...

    FCPX - RX570 and RX580

For anyone making a build for FCPX use and were trying to decide on what video card to go for, you might want to check this video out: He compared the cards under an eGPU unit. The numbers for the RX580 8GB actually weren't that much better than a RX570 4GB to my surprise. I was honestly...

    Radeon RX 590

Click on the Apple menu button at the top, then click on About this Mac. Once there, click on System Report. Click on the Graphics/Displays tab. You should be able to see under the video card info, a line there that says, "Metal: Supported, feature set...blah blah". That is, if it does support...

    AMD RX 590 Graphics card

Heh, yeah that would make sense. With the Macbook Air and Mac Mini refreshed, I'm guessing we'll see the 590 as an option in whenever they release the regular iMac refreshes (not iMac Pro). Currently the regular ones max out with the 580.

    Radeon RX 590

That's what I intend to do... What I'm hoping out of the 590 is that it might help bring the prices of the other RX's down. I have no intention of buying the 590.

    Radeon RX 590

Some of the tech tubers I've been watching suggest its basically a higher clocked 580, so there is always hope.

    Radeon RX 590

I have no idea. I would probably stay away and just go with what works for the moment. That is the safest bet unless you like experimenting.

    Radeon RX 590

For those that don't know, AMD is releasing their RX 590 two days from now: https://www.tomshardware.com/news/powercolor-red-devil-radeon-rx-590-specs,38069.html https://wccftech.com/amd-radeon-rx-590-polaris-30-specs-price-performance-leak/ So if you were looking for a Radeon card to purchase...

    Lepus48's Asus Strix Z370-F, with i7-8700k / RX 570 / 2x 4k Monitors

Cool, that is great info to know! For me, I want AMD for two reasons; that I want to use it with FCPX and Radeon's are better suited from what I can tell than their Nvidia counterparts and also that they just seem to work out of the box from what I've read for hackintoshs. The sale price on that...

    Lepus48's Asus Strix Z370-F, with i7-8700k / RX 570 / 2x 4k Monitors

Hey there, When you and Lepus48 say you have the MSI RX 570... Is this the one? https://www.msi.com/Graphics-card/Radeon-RX-570-ARMOR-8G-OC I'm looking really hard at this card as NewEgg.ca has it for $219.99 CDN with a $20 rebate. Was the install easy for you? Alternatively, Amazon Canada...

    Z390 anyone?

LOL, if you don't, someone else will. Me, I was temped by the Asrock Z390 Pro4 as the Asrock Z370 Pro4 is a supported board. But I made my decision based on my wallet instead and went for the Z370 Pro4. For those that do go Z390, it looks like the beefier VRM's will provide better performance...

    Z390 anyone?

Damn, resellers/manufacturers are not making this easy... So Newegg Canada have their Asrock boards on sale (with rebates until Nov 8). The currently supported Asrock Z370 Pro4 is on sale for $152.99 and has a $40 rebate! However... They have the latest Asrock Z390 Pro4 on sale for $189.99 and...

    Z390 anyone?

Took a look at the Asus Prime z370-P... They have all three of the 9th gen processors listed. The Prime z370-A only has two of them (i9 and i5) so I think its safe to say that the site updater omitted one by mistake (the i7). https://www.asus.com/ca-en/Motherboards/PRIME-Z370-P/HelpDesk_CPU/

    Z390 anyone?

I took a peek at the Gigabyte Aorus Gaming 5 z370 board, and they do have the three 9th gen cpu's on their list of compatibility. Maybe Asus just haven't finished updating their site info yet?

    Z390 anyone?

Anxiously awaiting tomorrow... I believe that is when the benchmarks for the new cpu's are supposed to be available as they've been embargoed until then. Curious to see the comparison between the i7-9700k vs the i7-8700k (8 cores/8 threads vs 6 cores/12 threads)...

    Z390 anyone?

Just wondering if anyone has attempted to go for the z390 series boards yet? I have my computer case, cpu cooler, ram, drives, thermal compound already in hand. My plan was waiting for sometime closer to November for black friday to see what deals will be for the cpu/motherboard. I have...
