Hey experts, I've followed the step-by-step guides in getting ALC887 going on the rig in my description and it never actually worked on High Sierra. I did a clear build of Mojave that is just singing along. It's great.. but, again, the ALC887 never installed properly no matter what I tried...

I like the program a lot but it crashes every single time I try to render. Gets to about 1:20 in.. and crashes the entire system. I've tried all options from auto to metal to opengl and cuda.. same thing. Very very strange. Anyone with similar hardware to what I have find success with this...

Question I don't think has been covered here. I do audio/video in a professional setting and the audio codec I use is via usb. When I plug the set up into any computer, the usb is recognized as USB Audio Codec. It's used for in and out. When I connected to my Hackintosh -- the out works...
