[solved] Current HWMonitor.app showing wrong Fan RPM in system menu bar

Done - for some reason I was not aware hat the HWMonitor.app was open source. Was unsure on how to switch the language but debugged it and found the typo pretty quickly. Thx for the heads up: https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-FakeSMC-kozlek/pull/27

[solved] Current HWMonitor.app showing wrong Fan RPM in system menu bar

It’s definitly the version from your repo if you mean that. As said in the github issue - version 6.16.1372 works without issues.

[solved] Current HWMonitor.app showing wrong Fan RPM in system menu bar

In a while? That sounds odd. I did this a couple of times the last weeks since you switched to WhateverGreen. But will do it again. For the UEFIDrivers I tend to clear that directory out and install clover to only get the latest drivers and getting rid of old remnants. Will report back with...

    Lenovo Z510 Problems with HD4600

I have read those users. Though your statement that this is not the right approach to solve the problem kept me from using the VoodooTSCSync.kext ;) Ok - will look for a guide in doing so. Thx so far Memphiz

    Lenovo Z510 Problems with HD4600

Hi Rehabman, i have 2 problems with my Lenovo Z510 I can't seem to solve: 1. Whenever I boot without cpus=1 I get the kernel panic you see in my attached zip 2. I can't get the HD4600 to work. I used the clover guide and dsdt patching guide for this notebook. Any hints would be very...

[Guide] HP ProBook/EliteBook/Zbook using Clover UEFI hotpatch (10.11)

Is there any way to change this? Meaning to use the BT from BCM94352HMB instead of the built-in module in my EliteBook 8570p for example?

[Guide] HP ProBook/EliteBook/Zbook using Clover UEFI hotpatch (10.11)

Nice spotting. I did install_acpi.sh - but not all my usb ports where working (the usb2/esata port and one of the usb2 ports on the left side don't work with your SSDT-USB-8x70.aml). I checked the usb ports as per your "USB customization" guide and realised that the usb ports are the same as...

[Guide] HP ProBook/EliteBook/Zbook using Clover UEFI hotpatch (10.11)

Sorry for the inconvenience. I have added the stuff to my profile. My problem was the non working Displayport, Debug data to be found in my post here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-hp-probook-elitebook-zbook-using-clover-uefi-hotpatch-10-11.189416/page-292#post-1297948

[Guide] HP ProBook/EliteBook/Zbook using Clover UEFI hotpatch (10.11)

HI RehabMan, now that i moved from an AMD systemboard to an IGPU system board i have only one issue left. The DisplayPort doesn't work. Its not only Audio that is missing but the whole port doesn't seem to work. At least osx doesn't detect a second display. Attached all debug files. Would be...

[Guide] Intel IGPU HDMI/DP audio (all Sandy Bridge -> Kaby Lake [and likely later])

I apologize for that one. I somehow wrongly thought that this can't be that different from a ioreg POV. Would a moderator be so kind to split my post out into its own thread? Beside that one of the questions (while unrelated to that very intel only topic) is still valid. What did i do wrong...

[Guide] Intel IGPU HDMI/DP audio (all Sandy Bridge -> Kaby Lake [and likely later])

Hi RehabMan, i have tried to adapt this guide to my EliteBook 8570p with AMD7570M to get the audio over displayport working. In my case the HDAU device is not B0D3 but B0D4 and doesn't reside on adr 30000 but 40000. I adapted the patches in the clover config accordingly. Beside that i...

Lion HDMI Audio - Part 3b: Kext Edits - Nvidia

Got it working by changing my mainboard to a Gigabyte GA-P31-ES3G. Its basically the same chipset i had before but now has an alc888 audio codec on board. It worked with your AppleHDA for ALC888 kext and the dsdt modifications from the howto. No further binary hacks needed for GT220 - but i had...

Didn't work ... i try to find another mainboard with some sort of ALC codec. It should work with ALC662 too right?

Lion HDMI Audio - Part 3b: Kext Edits - Nvidia

I tried with added connector injection in my DSDT. The assertions slightly changed to: Sound assertion "0 != result" failed in AppleHDADriver at line 1018 goto Exit Sound assertion "!me->fKextResourceLoaded" failed in AppleHDADriver at line 993 goto Exit Sound assertion "0 ==...

Lion HDMI Audio - Part 3b: Kext Edits - Nvidia

Mhhh i think i have a silly situation here :). I have an GT 220 where everything worked with the patched DSDT (e.x. i can see the codec id in regio and its one of those already in AppleHDA.kext). Though i get these assertions which where already mentioned here (the ones where you said "get your...
